Hi, My name is Erica and I have had my Epic since the day it was released.  This is my 4th Android phone and for the most part I am happy with it. 
My only complaints with the Epic is not having 2.2 (but that hasn't effected me until recently because I want to download the SimiClock widget lol) and I have issues with my slide out keyboard.  It will freeze and not let me type anything unless I restart my launcher or it does the opposite and holds the buttons down.  I have had this happen on Touchwiz, LauncherPro and ADW so I'm pretty sure its my keys.   Other then that my Epic is a great device. 
I found this forum because I was searching for a new music widget.  Right now I just use "Pure Music Widget" and want something different.  I like customizing my homescreens but of course everything I want requires root access and I'm still not confident I won't brick my phone.   If anyone happens to have a suggestion I would appreciate it

Welcome to the Epic Forum.

For a start, please pay a visit to the Forum Rules.

After 4 Androids, I believe you're very familiar, but no harm checking out our Tips & Tricks.

Froyo is just round the corner, everybody is waiting for it.

As for the Widgets, maybe you would like to try MixZing or WinAmp. Both can be found in Market.
