Hey all, this is Joe. I bought my Epic a little over a month ago. I recently started thinking about getting a smartphone and ALMOST went down the Blackberry route... so glad I didn't, i LOVE Android OS! I put about a month of research in and eventually purchased a used HTC Hero for Sprint that I had flashed to Metro PCS. After a few weeks I was very upset with the results of flashing a smartphone to Metro PCS(this was in October of 2010, they may have changed things to make the phones run better). It was like I had a smartphone that wasnt on a smart network, too much phone for Metro PCS.
So I did some research and fell in love with the HTC Evo, at the time I really liked the Hero and the whole Sense set up that I just wanted to stick with HTC. As I did more research I started looking at the Epic and eventually decided on the EPIC!
I am very happy with my decision but (I am sure many of you feel this way) I am REALLY upset with how long it is taking Sprint, Samsung, Android, or whoever to release the Froyo update for the Epics.
