Just read on Sprints website in the forums that it may get here around September 18th, but no official date has been given per there website.
LOL...just like the much anticipated 2.2 Froyo update, the date for Gingerbread keeps getting pushed back further every time we near a previously announced/rumored release date.
To be honest, after my phone was updated from Eclair to Froyo, I noticed no difference in any aspect of day-to-day useage. Gingerbread may be a let-down too? I suppose only the MAJOR operating system updates (i.e. 2.0, 3.0, 4.0, etc.) bring major changes that average users like me would appreciate. I get the most enjoyment and satisfaction from productivity software in the Android Market. The Vlingo voice commands software has been a life and time saver many times over for me.
