Here is the Scenario:
My phone is locked and at the "Draw Pattern to Unlock" screen. Someone sends me a text message. (Keep in mind the phone is locked) The message appears in full on the screen and I have the ability to reply. Once I press send the phone goes back to the "Draw Pattern to Unlock"
Here is my analogy of this: I am using any version of Windows and have locked my desktop which requires a password to unlock. A co-worker sends me an e-mail and even though my desktop is locked the message shows up while I am away. Someone walking by my desk can simply type a bogus reply and hit send. The screen now returns to the press CTRL + ALT + DEL to unlock.
So the question I ask is how is this any different? Why bother having a security unlock patter?
I called Samsung this morning to explain this and they said that they would consider this issue for a future phone release. I explained that my Samsung Moment did not have this issue. I just spent $200 out of pocket for this phone and in my opinion it is flawed and a patch should be sent to fix this issue ASAP.
Does anyone know how to fix this issue? Or have you experienced this issue?
