The time to answer a call is too short. Phone is in my backpack for most of the time. At the time I find it and get it out of its pocket the time is up and I miss the call.
I cannot find a setting for this in any menu. Is there a setting to chose how many times the ringtone sounds, or for how long the phone will ring?

I believe this has a lot to do with how many times your cell phone polls the tower. Sometimes the polling interval is set to for example 5 secs and can cause a delay before your phone rings which in turn gives you less time to answer a call once it starts ringing. I believe you can call your provider and get them to increase the amount of rings before going to their messaging service. Hope that helps unfortunately I don't know how to decrease the amount of the time phone polls the tower.

There is a setting to auto-answer calls. If that is disabled, the duration of the phone rings is not decided by your mobile phone, but rather by either the person calling you (maybe you should ask your friends to be more patient with you Big Smile) or of your mobile network. In the latter case, you could try disabling the redirection to your voice mailbox, if one exists (many mobile operators like to enable one by default to make some extra income with people ending up on the voice mailbox)...
