Hello. I just got a sprint samsung epic 4g. The phone has not been rooted or modified. I am having 2 issues.
1st is the autocomplete or spelling suggestions. For some reason it is only pulling suggestions from my contact list (ex. If i misspell "friend" it suggests "Frank"). I've tried messing with the keyboard and input ssettings but it keeps doing the same thing.
2nd is tts. I downloaded google translate. It prompted me to install the english tts. I did that. When I translate to spanish and press speak it says the spanish word with the english voice and pronunciation, even tghough it says "speaking in spanish". I even downloaded extended tts but nothing changed, even after a reboot.
I've owned a G2 and a mytouch 3g and I never had these problems. Any suggestions?

edit: i figured out the tts problem. if you are experiencing this go to the text to speech s ettings and uncheck "always use my setings"
still no luc,k on the auto complete suggestions
