How do I turn 3G OFF, but WiFi ON

Hi,

I understand that the Epic 4G switches between WiFi and 3G according to availability. But I am about to travel overseas where I do not want my phone to connect to 3G. However I want the WiFi to work.

Reading some posts, I tried the 'Airplane Mode', but that also takes away my ability to place or receive calls.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I think what you want is to turn off call roaming under settings> call settings and data roaming under settings > wireless & networks.

Thanks fdxlag. I will try that option and will see how that works when I fly out of the US.
But surely seems that would be the way to go. Will keep you folks updated.
