I don't want gmail as my default account for sending emails. Where do I change this? Open it and go to settings and add your accounts. Then, long press on the account you want as the default, go to account settings, then set as default account. The "gmail" app does not seem to allow other accounts to be added. Logged The chances of finding out what really is going on are so absurdly remote that the only thing to do is to say hang the sense of it and just keep yourself occupied. Select action to send email, choose app, check use as default.
