If you are having a problem with something not working properly, there are a few things you should try before posting a new thread:

* 1. Reboot your phone by holding down the power button until a menu pops up, then choose Power Off. Once the phone is off, pull the battery for about 30 seconds. Then replace the battery and restart the phone. This tends to clear up a large number of issues.

* 2. If you are having any sort of connection issues, go to Settings, System Updates, and update both the PRL and Profile.

* 3. If you are having problems with an app not working correctly, go to Settings, Manage applications. Find the app that you are having problems with and click on it. Then press Clear cache and Clear data. Follow with a reboot as listed in #1 above for best results. If the app is still causing problems, do a search on our forum. If you don't find an answer, try checking the developer's website and/or contacting the developer directly.

* 4. If none of the above solves your problem, search the forum. If you don't find an answer after searching, post a message and give as much detail about your problem as possible, including whether or not your phone is rooted, how the problem happens (or what you were doing when it happened), what you have done to try and fix the problem, whether or not you are using a task killer, and indicate that you have read the FAQ and done a search. We'll do our best to help you but the more information you can give us, the faster/better we can help.

Some of the FAQ's listed here apply to the Epic as well as the EVO. FAQ

The chances of finding out what really is going on are so absurdly remote that the only thing to do is to say hang the sense of it and just keep yourself occupied. DA HHGG

I'm new at this, please forgive any faux pas. I updated my Samsung Epic to Android 2.2, and it was a disaster. To get back some of the lost functionality, I rooted it. Now, ClockworkMod (v2.5.1.0) won’t let me do any more updates. Says E: Signature verification failed. What do I need to do to get around this? Thanks in advance!

Hit the applications button.

Hit the setting Button.

Hit edit and add or remove any apps to the "drawers".

this reply is for terry who has the cwm issue.

If u are still having problems with cwm u can reroot to cwm3 and run the new ext4 roms that have been coming out and are way faster than rfs. Sooner or later cwm3 will have to be on your phone (i believe) for installing roms because alot of developers are moving towards the ext4 platform. just make sure you install a ext4 rom onto the root of your sd card before rerooting so u dont end up boot looping your device. i will be posting all the links and directions on how to do this is the custom rom section of this website soon Happy

Have you talked to Sprint about this (either via phone or going to the store)?  It seems like you may have an issue either with the OS or something else going on that is causing all of these errors.
