So I went ahead and formatted to ext4 and installed a custom rom on my phone. I went to a sprint store, saw the techs screen looked different than a stock epic, and asked him what he suggests for a rom. He referred me to the Bonsai rom which I have to say, it quite nice. Seems very efficient and gained a lot of speed with it.
My question is does anyone have a particular rom to suggest? I read a lot about midnight but also read that bonsai was much better. I also see this cw7 I think it is? Any good or even released for epic? Anyone find any good roms out there other than those or any custom themes they like? Just curious.
Btw, Bonsai removed pretty much all bloatware, shot my quadrant score up to 1800 w/out any mods to cpu/gpu, and seems to have a longer battery life so far. Idk about the midnight rom....
