Hello all

I'm new here and I just got my samsung epic friday 3/11 my birthday  Happy I wanted to know if there is away to transfer some pictures, music, and mp4 movies to my Samsung epic. I hook-up the epic to my pc but all it was doing was charging the phone I did see on my pc where it said new device located but nothing else.

If you double click on My Computer, does the device show up there?  What OS are you using?

You have to click on mass storage, or use bluetooth if you have one on your pc

If you want to transfer files without the usb connection, I like Dropbox. I sync all my computers with it, and now there is an android version of it. Drop any file on your pc into the dropbox folder and it appears in your phone's dropbox folder. Magic!

The USB cord, of course requires that you load the samsung driver for your computer's operating system. http://www.samsung.com/us/support/owners/product/SPH-D700ZKASPR

After that, the phone will pop up in windoze explorer like a flash drive after you select mass storage on your phone. Hassle tho considering that it makes any programs you have on your microsd unavailable to the phone
