I looked up a little on how to take screen shots with the Epic, and all I found was information on downloading a program on a PC and putting it on the phone. This is a problem for me because I have a Mac. I was just wondering if anyone knows anything else about it.

Thanks.

Turns out you can do screen shots with ShootMe - no rooting required for the Epic.

Thanks! I downloaded it today. Seems to work pretty good. Just sucks that you have to have an app to do it. This phone is so similar to the iPhone you'd think they would've included that little bit.

There's also an add-on for "Dolphin Web Browser HD" that takes screen shots.  If you haven't downloaded this browser to replace the PIECE OF GARBAGE "browser" app on this phone, you should do that immediately.  It is so much more choice than the built-in browser.  Of course, this only solves the screen shot problem for things IN THE BROWSER.

But still, when I got "MailDroid" and "Dolphin Browser HD" for this phone, I felt like I had a COMPLETELY different phone.  They're worth getting.

I accidently captured a text message but could not repeat it. Tried bipolars post holding te return andthan home button.  I get it to work on the keyboard if you tap home button twice.  Still trying to replicate with the touch screen.  No need to install a new app.
Good luck!
