If you want to keep others from viewing pics, & other files that are on you SD card, it is simple. Go to your sd card, & put pics, & files that you don’t want to be seen by others in a separate folder. When you name the folder, put a period in front of the name. (example .pics) If you want a little more privacy mount the card to your pc, & right click on the folder, go to properties & make it hidden. On the phone under SD card settings there is an option to show or not to show hidden files. However, I have noticed that you have to rename the folder with a period in front of the name to make any of this work. Once you do that, it works like a charm.

The chances of finding out what really is going on are so absurdly remote that the only thing to do is to say hang the sense of it and just keep yourself occupied. DA HHGG

Question!

I made a new folder on my phone and put some pictures in it. Then I opened up my gallery and saw that the folder was showing up there, and I didn't want it to. So I put a . in front of the name of the folder and now the folder is gone....

I am not sure what happen there. Is the folder hidden? Under "My Files" click the menu, then more, then settings, & make sure the box is checked to show hidden files. If that doesnt work, try to create a new folder & put the "." if front of the name. See if that works. I am curious about that one. Please let me know how it goes. It works fine for me.

"Audio Manager" by Anuj Tenani is a great App for hiding files.  Easy to use and access and you do not lose the gallery feature when accessing your files from within the app.  It even has a slideshow feature.  And, it is free
