How to get list of apps you have in case wiped out by update or hard reset

Here is one way to get a list of the apps you have installed in case they are wiped out by the update or a hard reset. (Or if you delete one by accident.)

- Go to https://market.android.com/
- Log On
- My Market Account (Upper right)

You will see a list of all your apps including paid AND FREE. From your browser's menu you can save a copy of the pages in the desired format. (Web Page Complete, HTML Only, Single file (IE), etc.)

If you have to start over, and you have not run a program that backs them up to SD, then you at least have the list. There may be other ways, but this is how I did it.

BTW: File Expert has an application backup to SD feature but I have not tested the restore part.

You can also use a free app called appbak which will copy a list of all your installed apps to your sd. After wiping you reinstall the app then it reinstalls the apps from the market. Rooted users can always use Titanium Backup to back up apps "along" with their associated data or CWM Recovery to create a nandroid, as well.
