Guys, has anyone use other brands of headset other than given in the standard pack? I've tried using a normal mp3 earpiece and i expect to listen to calls made/receive thru the earpiece and talk thru the phone mouthpiece but I can only listen to music only.Using apple iphone earpiece with mic also allows me to listen to music only...is galaxy s supposed to work like this??

This has been my experience on most phones. The presence of the head phones in the jack puts the phone into wired headset mode. It's sort of the user's fault for putting in a set that lacks a microphone.

I avoid the problem with a bluetooth headset...   Big Grin

I have a Bose wired headset that seems to work fine - at least functionally.  My mic works, but the sound on the other end is apparently awful.  Muffled electronic sounding.  Anyone else experiencing this?
