But if this phone is going to be the Epic 4G for the network, hopefully the firmwares will be compatible. Both Singtel and Telco have their own firmware and there's been reports of lag in the phone on both of them, while there's been no such reports on brand-free models. In fact, it looks like this one is going to be considerably less locked down than the other, previous AT&T Android offerings. Signs point to Google services all the way instead of the switch to Yahoo, for example.
