Hello.  I can complete the steps for setting up a corporate exchange account but when I click done it's stuck on the "Loading" screen with the wheel continuously spinning.  I've tried setting my corporate email on another epic with no luck.  I can log on to my webmail account via the browser.  I can also access my corporate exchange via Touchdown app.

I have tried everything: Hard reset, dis-associate my device from the account, different ways to login with no luck.  I have submitted a ticket to Sprint so they may hopefully update the software.  My work requires that we use a pin to set up our corporate email and I think it may be part of the problem.

did you hear anything back? mine worked before we upgraded to exchange 2010, where i was then unable to open or forward attachments. i thought that removing and readding the account may help, but no matter which way i tried it will just sit at the same loading screen you referenced. i've also deleted from the server.

My corporate email was working fine and then a force close on Christmas Eve.  When I tried to reset it, I got the same thing, stuck on the "loading" screen.  My other email, a POP3 account, loaded fine.  I have not tried setting it up with Touchdown or another app yet, but I saw your post and was wondering if either of you were able to fix the problem and how.  IT guys aren't being all that helpful.  Company is using Outlook 2007, but I work remotely and have email coming into my laptop and Outlook 2010 if that makes a difference.  Thanks for any help you can provide.  If it makes sense to run a different app, I will.

Has there been any solution to this problem? Our office just "upgraded" our server to 2010, and now my Epic is still "loading". My director has the new EVO Shift and his reset fine. We've both tried on my Epic, and no joy. By the way, we're both IT. Is there any reference to the android system being 2.1 or 2.2? Mine is still 2.1, and when I check for updates, the reply is I'm fine. If anybody has it figured out, please let me know. Taking call can be rough without this. Thanks,

On 2.1, my exchange email worked fine, then when I got upgraded to 2.2.1, I had to have a pin num to lock the phone and add an administrator to the account.  At this point ActiveSync now had control of my phone.  I was able to get the requirement for the Pin to be disabled on the server.  Actually, I didn't do it, the person that admins the server did.

So I wonder if you did that (add the admin and pin) if it would work for ya.  Just a thought.  BTW, we are still on 2007 exchange.

My phone worked fine with 2007 exchange. With the switch to 2010, my phone, several i phones, and a blackberry wouldn't connect. We "fixed" my email access by blowing out my email profile and recreate it in the old 2007 exchange server. Since then, sprint updated my epic to 2.2.1 version. So, we've contacted corporate to have them upgrade my profile to the 2010 exchange. Then we'll see if the 2.2.1 has anything to do with this. Corp. also had my director check our profiles, (on the security tab), and check the box that "allows inheritable permissions from parent to propagate to this object". It helped the other phones, but not sure about mine yet. I'll keep you folks up-to-date if you like.
