I have been pulling my hair out trying to figure out how to do the video chat or the video conferencing. Can anyone help me?

I believe Fring does this too, in addition to IM chatting.  I was hoping that i could video chat with family in Japan, as my rural home satellite internet connection is slow as slugs and does not support video chat, but it seems that you can only video chat with someone who has a phone with the same ability.

i thought qik let's you video chat between phone and pc.  check out their help section.
